Loosid Sober Dating App 17+

This is the first sober dating app I’ve downloaded and I think that while it’s awesome to have as an option, there is much to be desired. The image selection is quite buggy and does not allow for rearranging the images once selected. The image that is selected last ends up being the image shown first on your profile, and even after deleting all images, there is one that permanently remains on my profile. It would be nice to have additional prompts as well as questions similar to hinge about dating intentions, if you have or desire children, religious and political views, etc.

Heads up if you set up profile using google login at the outset (for example) make sure you note it down and always use google to sign in. If you log in using a different sign in it won’t recognize that you already have an account, which happened to me, so I inadvertently created a 2nd profile months ago and wondered why not getting any likes/matches (the likes were happening on my other profile and I had no idea for months). I finally figured it out and unfortunately the app is unable to recognize if you orig signed up using a different login method. On top of that, the restore purchases button doesn’t work so I’m

Not sure why that’s even showing on their payment/landing page. I hope the best for the app and leaders behind Loosid as a sober dating app is a great idea but it’s pretty discouraging to figure out this duplicate profile sitch (and I’ve seen some legit account women on app who have more than 1 profile so I’m not the only 1 who made this mistake). How many people potentially miss the chance to match and meet because of this glitch? Tough enough as it is to meet people w/out this issue.

Hello CJFalk! Thank you for your feedback. It’s important to use the same login method consistently to avoid creating duplicate profiles. For instance, just like you need to remember and use the same username and password to access an account, our app requires the same login method each time.

If you originally signed up with Google, please continue using Google to log in. This will ensure your profile remains consistent and you won’t miss out on any matches or interactions.

This app is a great idea in theory, but there are many aspects that I feel can be improved. I continue to see the same profiles over and over even though I have already expressed that I am not interested in them and passed on their profile. Loosid states they reset your likes/rejections every 5 days so you can reconsider profiles you already rejected, but this feature is very frustrating. I don’t want to have to get through the same 75 profiles every 5 days over and over again just to see new ones. I am aware of what I want, and it feels Loosid doesn’t trust that I know that by making me repeatedly go through the same profiles again to “reconsider.” Like…Loosid you’re not helping me find my match when I have to repeatedly reject the same profiles of people with 25 days sober, who are “newly single,” or have different relationship goals. It is a waste of time and I don’t know any other dating app that does that. Please fix this feature.
